The 2014 Asian Games, officially known as the XVII Asiad, is scheduled to take place in Incheon, South Korea from 19 September to 04 October 2014, with 437 events in 36 sports and disciplines set to feature in the Games.

The first full meeting of the YAI Council since completion of the elections in August 2013 was an opportunity for the Council Members to share challenges and goals of their respective committees.
