- Nomination of representative by "Member Club" through a letter addressed to Hon Secretary General YAI on letter head of the "Member Club" duly signed by President / Vice President / Secretary General / Commodore / Vice Commodore of the "Member Club".

- Hon Secretary General YAI to prepare list of authorised representatives in Form 1 and circulate the copy of list to "Member Clubs" and display on the YAI website
- Furnish duly authenticated copy of the list to the Returning officer

16 – 18 August 2014 |
- Nomination of the Candidate as Office Bearer or Council Member in Form 2.
- Nomination paper be personally handed over to Returning officer by the Candidate.

- Returning Officer to prepare a list of nominations received by him, post wise, in Form 3

- Returning Officer to scrutinize each nomination paper and determine its validity or otherwise.
- Each candidate whose nomination has been found valid on scrutiny shall be entitled to withdraw his/her candidature by submitting Form 5.

- The Returning Officer to prepare the final list of contesting candidates on Form 6
- Display the list of contesting candidates in a conspicuous place in his office and on YAI website.
- Furnish a copy of the list to each candidate/their authorised representative, if they so demand.

- The Poll for the Posts Remaining Unfilled under clause 9(2) of the Model Election Guidelines as promulgated in National Sports Development Code of India 2011 shall be taken post wise and shall commence during the SGM.
- The time for the Special General Body Meeting is 1500 hrs and the venue of Elections will be Varunika, Nausena Bagh I, Chankyapuri, New Delhi 110 021
