The 45th Meeting of the General Body of the YAI was held at 1700 hrs on 17 Oct 2013 at the USI, New Delhi. Members Clubs and a large number of Life and Annual Associate members attended the meeting.  Representative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports was also present at the AGM.

The Annual General Body Meeting of the Yachting Association of India will be held in New Delhi at 1700 Hrs on Thursday 17 October 2013. The highlight of the AGM will be the presentation of Annual Awards for the years 2011 and 2012.

The fifth edition of the Raymond India International Regatta 2013 was inaugurated on a hot and muggy day with a disheartening forecast of low and shifting winds during the course of the week long regatta. The first three days did prove the prediction true causing great concern to the organising authority, however, the winds picked up during the last 3 days of the regatta; staying closer to 8 knots most of the times with a maximum of 12 knots.
