A team comprising two boys ranked III and IV and two girls ranked I and II has been selected to participate in the Malta Young Sailors EUROMED 2013 Regatta at Malta during 17 -23 Dec 2013. The selection is based on the “Graded Funding Policy” approved by the YAI Council during its meeting of 09 September 2013.  The highlights of this policy were discussed during the YAI’s 45th General Body Meeting held on 17 Oct 2013.

The Asian Sailing Federation (ASAF) took historic steps after they held their Annual General Meeting in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.

At the outset, Mr Park Soon-Ho conveyed his decision to resign as the President ASAF and requested that Dr. Malav Shroff, who had been earlier elected as President ASAF (to assume office wef 01 Jan 2015) to take over as the President of Asian Sailing Federation with immediate effect. The house, thanking Mr Park Soon-Ho for the commendable work undertaken by ASAF under his stewardship in the past year, requested Dr Shroff to assume office of the President ASAF with immediate effect and to Chair the ASAF AGM. Mr Park Soon-Ho will now assume the position of President of Honour of ASAF as per the ASAF constitution.
